Phantom was spectacular
We wanted to see this Opera for quite some time now, and my 13-year-old daughter and I missed seeing it in NY last year. The actors' performances, orchestra, and set design were top of the line, providing us with a great experience. It was great to have it available so close to home here in Fort Lauderdale.
When we were getting ready to leave, one of the elder ushers rudely stopped us as I was taking a photo of my daughter with the stage in the background. They said, "We are closing up so you have to leave now." It would have been nice if they had offered, "Oh, let me take a picture for you with both of you in it" to give us a permanent memento without taking much of their time. Oh well, c'est la vie.
